The Forza marketing company team based in Cork, is made up of talented individuals, comprising hands-on account managers, marketing consultants, copywriters, designers, programmers and online marketing partners. Our cumulative marketing experience derives from a combination of big agency backgrounds and working right across the business spectrum with start-ups, SMEs and blue chip clients.

 

Ivan Lavelle

Ivan Lavelle

Managing Director

Did: 15 years management experience in the graphic arts/print sector with Clondalkin and Field Boxmore Group companies. Worked for an Israeli based security printing company in the late 90s. Returning home, he managed an award winning digital and direct mail agency for 10 years after that. Ivan was awarded the inaugural IPA Xerox Manager of The Year Award in 2009.

Does: Company founder and MD, Ivan established Forza in 2010 as Munster’s first dedicated direct marketing agency. He brings with him a vast wealth of experience, having helped to develop highly successful direct marketing campaigns across a variety of sectors. A member of the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM), he contributes to An Post’s “Ask the DM Expert” panel and holds a diploma in digital marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI).

Loves: His three little crust grabbers, almost anything Italian on 4 wheels, Tony Bennett, Ron Burgundy’s jazz flute solo, Michael Mann movies, building vintage racing bikes and watching Tour de France alpine stages. Guilty pleasures: A Level 42 CD collection and a costly car magazine addiction.

Dan Dixon

Dan Dixon

Senior Designer

Did: Received a Bachelor Degree in Consumer and Applied Sciences from The University of Otago (New Zealand), double majoring in Design & Marketing, and a Level 8 Certificate in Digital Marketing from CIT. After graduating, Dan spent 10 years working as a graphic designer and senior designer for several leading offset, large format and digital printers in New Zealand and Australia. Moved to Ireland in 2014.

Does: Anything creative. A team player. Dan’s wealth of experience in print design covers a wide range of business sectors, from small start-ups to government agencies. Whether it’s a new brand identity, website or a DM – Dan brings his renowned creative abilities and keen eye for detail to each and every job.

Loves: Motor sports, ball sports, snow sports, karate, and trying to understand GAA. Adventures, travel, and trying anything new and exotic (usually foods).

Paul Doyle

Paul Doyle

Web Developer

Did: A self-taught design and coder, Paul worked as Multimeda Manager with Intuition, a leading global knowledge management solutions company. Moving to Spider Award winning web agency Nebula in 2000 as Creative Director, Paul worked on all aspects of website design and construction. Turning his focus to web development, Paul worked as a freelance developer for many years with companies like Eircom, Blue Insurance and Research & Markets.

Does: Using the latest technologies and methods to building standards compliant website for desktop and mobile devices. Specialising in the WordPress CMS platform, developing website for a wide range of business sectors including retail, hospitality, creative, media, healthcare and insurance.

Loves: Music – Live and recorded (playing and listening), walks in nature, a good meal with a glass of wine… and coding

Susan Ryan

Susan Ryan

Copywriter

Did: A degree in UCD then travelled and dabbled in several career choices including bartending in Germany, menu translation in Greece and pumpkin picking in Australia before settling on creative advertising. Since then she’s worked with several of Ireland’s top agencies creating campaigns for everything from banking to beer.

Does: Anything creative that’s required – whether a direct mail that’s too irresistible not to open, radio that stops people in their tracks, press that demands reading or web that drives clickability.

Loves: Anything written by Margaret Atwood, starring Meryl Streep, presented by Jon Stewart or directed by Mike Nicols. Also, Airline tickets, Arsenal, Brooklyn Bridge, cooking, talk radio and swimming in the sea.
